Responsibilities

  • Support the execution of procurement activities for assigned T&I and/or EPC projects in accordance with company procedures and P2P governance.
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the Project Procurement Plan, procurement schedules, trackers, and routine reports.
  • Coordinate pre‑award activities, including RFQ issuance, vendor correspondence, bid clarifications, and compilation of techno‑commercial evaluation documents.
  • Support commercial negotiations and award documentation under guidance from the Project Procurement Manager (PPM) or Lead Buyer.
  • Assist in identifying cost‑saving or cost‑avoidance opportunities, such as vendor alternatives, commercial clarifications, and scope optimisation, under supervision.
  • Ensure relevant commercial, contractual, technical, HSE, and quality requirements are communicated and flowed down to suppliers, where applicable and as instructed, in accordance with project and client requirements.
  • Coordinate post‑award activities, including vendor kick‑off meetings, expediting follow‑up, delivery tracking, and document control.
  • Support invoice verification and coordination with Project Controls, Finance, and end users to facilitate timely payment.
  • Maintain procurement records, correspondence, and files in SAP or designated ERP systems in compliance with audit and governance requirements.

Requirement

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Professional certification (e.g. CIPS or equivalent) is an advantage but not mandatory.
  • Minimum 5 to 8 years of experience in procurement / supply chain, preferably within oil & gas, energy, EPC, or infrastructure projects.
  • Exposure to project-based procurement for T&I and / or EPC projects is preferred.
  • Prior experience supporting pre‑award and post‑award procurement activities.
  • Practical experience supporting project procurement activities in a structured environment.
  • Exposure to procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontracted services for projects.
  • Experience assisting in RFQs, bid evaluations, purchase orders, and delivery follow‑up.
  • Working experience within multi‑disciplinary project teams.
  • Experience in cost control support, such as comparing quotations, tracking variations, and monitoring PO values.
  • Familiarity with procurement documentation control and ERP execution.
  • Exposure to international vendors and logistics coordination is an advantage.
  • Practical experience supporting project procurement activities in a structured environment.
  • Exposure to procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontracted services for projects.
  • Experience assisting in RFQs, bid evaluations, purchase orders, and delivery follow‑up.
  • Working experience within multi‑disciplinary project teams.
  • Experience in cost control support, such as comparing quotations, tracking variations, and monitoring PO values.
  • Familiarity with procurement documentation control and ERP execution.

  • Good understanding of procurement processes and project execution workflows.
  • Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems (PR, PO, GR, service entry sheets).
  • Strong coordination, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple interfaces and deadlines.
  • Willingness to learn, proactive, and able to work effectively within a project team.
  • Professional, ethical, and collaborative working attitude.
  • Exposure to offshore or international projects is an added advantage, but not mandatory.
  • Basic training in procurement processes, ERP systems, or contract administration is preferred.
