Drilling Superintendent (4 months job) - URGENT

• Interim - 4 months (June 2026 to September 2026)
• Located in Kuala Lumpur, MY

Requirement

• Bachelor of Science /Masters of Science in Engineering.
• 15 years minimum of experience in drilling superintendent position, with jack-up experience.
• Possesses a valid IWCF Supervisors Well Control Certificate (Combined Surface and Sub Sea).
• Must have ERD Drilling experience.
• Experienced in handling drilling rigs operation simultaneously.
• Horizontal drilling experience with the utilization of rotary steerable system.
• Previous experience with water and oil-based mud systems.
• Operational experience with jack up, and preferable with semi-submersible or tender assisted drilling rigs.
• Complex completion (including multi stacked reservoir dual completion system) experience and TCP.
• Familiar with extended reach drilling practices hole cleaning issues, wellbore stability, stuck pipe prevention, the use of managed pressure drilling, etc.
• Offshore operations management including safety, communications, compliance to rules and regulations, SIMOPS, coil tubing intervention works, etc.
• Experience working with Technical Limit Processes and drilling optimization.
• Onshore logistics including supply movement, inventory and QA/QC on downhole equipment.
• Good communication skills in English.
