Responsibilities

  • Reports to Field Supervisors
  • Routinely attends hygiene surveillance as a preventative measure, treats routine ailments, monitors health / safety records and statistics.
  • In charge of onboard clinic during the normal 12 hours work shift and on call thereafter as the situation requires.
  • Provides emergency first aid treatment to personnel until a physician is available while maintaining the occupational injury and illness log.
  • Administers all personnel arrival and departure manifests, personnel room assignments, hygiene reports, medical, safety meeting minutes, and safety statistics.
  • Participates in assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the delivery of health care service & task.
  • Patient advocacy, teaching, performance improvement and oversight of unlicensed personnel.
  • Provides first aid training to the platform personnel.
  • During aerial emergency or emergency drill stands by the primary evacuation location to provide emergency medical treatment to personnel.
  • Medical billing and coding. Medical record and management.
  • Ensures all medical stocks levels are kept up to date and emergency gear such as personnel stretchers and emergency first aid kits are well maintained.
  • Takes periodic drinking water samples for analysis.
  • Ensures the food supplies arriving from onshore are in good condition, all food storage and galley preparation areas are of a high standard of cleanliness / hygiene.
  • Responsible to provide expert HSE advice, guidance and services at offshore and onshore in promoting a safe and healthy work environment and comply with regulations in line with COMPANY HSE policies and industrial standards, business plans and objectives of the company to ensure that the interests of the Company and its Stakeholders are protected at all times.

Requirement

  • Bachelor of Science (Medical Technology)
  • A certificate of competency as a Medical Assistant
  • Possess HIPAA & JCAHO knowledge
  • Possess a valid BOSETT and Medical Certificate for COMPANY OSP Application
  • Minimum 5 years field experience on offshore facilities coordinating health
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in ICU ER
  • Familiar with safety and medical records/statistics recording
  • Top level of hygiene
  • Good communication skills in the English language with Malay or Thai advantage
