Scope of Works:

  • Plan, design, and execute drilling and workover programs for exploration and development wells from concept to abandonment stage.
  • Prepare detailed well designs including casing design, hole size selection, torque and drag analysis, and offset well reviews.
  • Develop drilling programs, cost estimates, AFEs, and engineering documentation in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide operational support during drilling activities, including monitoring drilling performance, troubleshooting well issues, and ensuring program compliance.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams such as geologists, geophysicists, and completion engineers to optimize well design and performance.
  • Manage drilling-related contracts, including tender preparation, technical and commercial evaluation, execution, and close-out activities.
  • Monitor drilling operations data, maintain accurate records, and prepare daily, end-of-well, and technical reports.
  • Conduct post-well analysis and performance reviews to identify improvements, implement new technologies, and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Prepare and manage drilling budgets, track expenditures, and implement cost control and optimization measures.
  • Ensure all drilling activities comply with Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental (HSSE) policies and promote safe working practices.

Requirement(s):

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in drilling engineering and drilling operations with a major operator.
  • Experience in well engineering design, drilling program preparation, and operational support.
  • Familiarity with slimhole monobore cemented completion design and offline operations is an advantage.
  • Certified in Well Control, Offshore Survival, and Fire Fighting from recognized training institutes.
  • Strong knowledge of drilling engineering principles, well design, cost estimation, and drilling operations management.
  • Ability to analyze drilling data, implement performance improvements, and manage technical documentation.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
