Responsibilities

  • Provide well logs interpretation to determine zones that potentially could be hydrocarbon productive. Perform formation evaluation of new Exploration, Appraisal and Development wells to support the relevant sub-surface activities / studies.
  • Demonstrated the knowledge and comprehension to do QC wireline logging (WL) and logging while drilling (LWD) data where available. Have a good understanding of basic physic of tools sensors
  • Conduct petrophysical reviews / studies of the existing Exploration, Appraisal and Development wells to support the relevant sub-surface activities / studies
  • Perform cement log evaluation of new Exploration, Appraisal and Development wells, and update petrophysics correlation with recent completion marker
  • Perform conventional core-to-log depth registration and measurement calibration to aid the development of petrophysical models. Follow up on conventional core work progress, and review the results to ensure the required level of quality is achieved
  • Collaborate with concerned parties on initiatives to improve operational / system processes or cost optimization
  • Maintain relationship with shareholders and stakeholders to keep them abreast with the latest information on company's business update and progress and aim to enhance the self confidence in company services, products and business solutions.
  • Implement and ensure company's occupational safety, health and environment policy and related activities is effectively implemented in all areas of work in order to meet company HSE plan and targets.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by Superior.

Responsibilities

  • Possess at least Bachelors Degree in Geology / Petroleum / Reservoir Engineering or equivalent. Masters in these disciplines would be an advantage.
  • At least 4 years relevant experience in a line function role, e.g. formation evaluation and petrophysical studies.
  • Competent in using Petrophysics software, e.g. Geolog, Techlog or IP.
  • Broad based computer knowledge
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English
