QAQC Engineer (Sitiawan, Perak)

This is a contract basis for ± 12 months duration.

Responsibilities

• Draft and prepare Project Quality Management Procedure (PQMP) and prepare, execute & update QA/QC related procedures; 
• Implements Quality System Training and Project Audit. 
• Follow-up of Corrective Action for non-conformance and Preventive Action. 
• Monitor day to day QC inspection and testing activities in accordance with approved ITP and complied with requirement of contract document, project procedures and relevant industrial codes/standards.

Requirement

• Minimum Engineering Degree or equivalent. 
• Minimum 7 years of working experience in Oil & Gas industry
• Familiar with relevant international Industrial Codes & Standards including but not limited to ANSI, ASME, AWS or API. 
• Possess accreditation as follows
  • Associate/Practitioner Chartered Quality Associate/Practitioner (CQA) or (CQPr) from Chartered Quality Institute (CQI). 
  • The Certified Quality Engineer from American Society of Quality (ASQ).
  • Certified Quality Improvement Professional from American Certification Institute (ACI).
• Experience in internal/ external Project quality audit. 
• Knowledge of relevant international standards, e.g., latest ISO9001, ISO/TS 29001 
• Certified Quality Engineer/ Manager to ASQ, CQI or equivalent body. 
• Familiar with current Quality Management methodology, tools and techniques including performance improvement, corrective / preventive action (CAPAR) and customer satisfaction is added advantage.
