Job Purpose:

• SIMOP operations is planned and will be conducted during the phase 5 drilling campaign. Thus, there will be concurrent activities on the rig floor, deck, and under the rig floor in parallel which could lead to higher risks. Drilling Safety Supervisor is required to assist Drilling Supervisor regarding HSE matters, and especially when SIMOPS is executed.
• Drilling Safety Supervisor will oversee overall safety at the rig site.
• He/she will take role as HSE leader at the work site to ensure that all drilling activities; including SIMOP, are conducted in a safe, efficient, and environmentally friendly manner according to the local regulatory and companys HSE rules

Scope of Works:

• Directly reports to Drilling Supervisor
• To assist Drilling Supervisor regards HSE and especially when SIMOPS is executed.
• To act as the Companys HSE representative onboard the rig, ensuring that drilling and SIMOP operations at the rig site are being always performed in safe, efficient, and environmentally friendly manners and in line with company and rig contractor HSE policy and procedure.
• Plan and facilitate Weekly HSE Meeting with Drilling operations team in town in conjunction with rig contractor / drilling supervisor and rig contractor HSE.
• Lead the team to facilitate the rig site Job Safety Analysis (JSA) Process.
• Daily review STOP cards generated onboard the rig and ensure effectiveness of STOP program is utilize, discuss with Drilling Supervisor to generate the plan to rectify the hazardous issue that could arise.
• Participate in all pre job planning activities for high exposure potential operation including SIMOPS operation ensure high risk task will be discussed prior to operation execution.
• Lead the effort to perform rig HSE audits and inspections and report safety trends to the Drilling Supervisor and Drilling Superintendent.
• Assume a leadership role in mentoring and coaching crew members regarding companys HSE policy and producers requirements.
• Perform orientation of personnel boarding the rig in accordance with company HSE policy and procedures.
• Ensure HSE critical equipment onboard the rig is properly maintained as procedure of the rig contractor and company.

Requirement(s):

• Possess at least Bachelors Degree in health, safety, and environmental science
• Minimum of 8 years experiences as a rig site HSE representative / Drilling Safety Supervisor.
• Familiar with drilling operation with risk and hazard that come along with its operations.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Human management skill.
