About the job Senior Subsea Inspection Engineer
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee onshore/offshore Underwater Inspection Programs in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise inspection activities conducted by divers and/or ROV teams.
- Utilize and manage computerized subsea inspection management systems (e.g. COABIS, IME, NEXUS, IRIS, SIMS, Visualworks, MCS, or equivalent system) for data management and reporting.
- Operate and oversee the use of Digital Video Recording (DVR) systems for subsea inspection documentation.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations during all inspection operations.
- Review and validate inspection data, prepare technical reports, and recommend corrective actions when required.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to inspection teams.
Requirement
- Minimum a Degree in Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Possess a valid CSWIP 3.4U certificate
- Minimum ten (10) years of relevant working experience in onshore/offshore management of Underwater Inspection Programs (i.e >800 days at site) including:
- 5 years use and management of computerized subsea inspection management system (e.g COABIS, IME, NEXUS, IRIS, SIMS, Visualworks, MCS, or equivalent system) & Digital Video Recording (DVR) system on Diver &/or ROV projects (i.e >400 offshore days).
