Head of Subsurface

Position : Head of Subsurface / Senior Reservoir Engineer

Employment : Permanent / 3 years contract

Industry : Oil & Gas

Scope of Works:

• Provide expert technical guidance to ensure optimal development and production.
• Lead a team of subsurface professionals to evaluate and optimize performance.
• Collaborate with partners to identify and mitigate risks.
• Play a key role in investment decisions for new and existing projects.
• Champion health, safety, and environmental responsibility.

Requirement(s):

• Bachelors degree in Geology & Geophysics, Petroleum Engineering, or equivalent and relevant academic qualifications
• Minimum 15 years experience within the Oil & Gas industry, with a focus in one of the subsurface disciplines (Reservoir Engineering, Production Technology)
• Strong technical and managerial capabilities this is considered a prerequisite
• Proven skills in reservoir engineering or production technology, with experience integrating subsurface disciplines (GG, RE, PP, PT, and Economics) in hydrocarbon maturation funnels, Field Development Planning (FDP), and Area Development Plans (ADP)
• Familiarity with reserves calculation, reporting, and production forecasting
