Key Responsibilities

  • Day to day supervision of Completion operations on rig.
  • Responsible for the execution of completion program and liaising with Drilling Foreman to ensure the program is executed in a safe manner with no SSHE incidents.
  • Responsible for management of Completion service company personnel on board.
  • Responsible for liaising between the COMPANY Drilling Foreman & the Service Contractors.
  • Assist Drilling Foreman for cost monitoring and tracking on board the drilling rig during completion operations.
  • Responsible for documentation and accurate reporting of completion activities.
  • Assist the Drilling Foreman to manage logistics to support the daily completion activities.
  • Ensure all equipment arriving on board is checked by Service Company personnel and is Fit for Purpose to be used in running completion operations.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 15 years experience in Completion Operations with 10 years experience in deepwater completion and/or testing experience from a drillship, semi-submersible drilling rig, or a floating dry tree unit and with 10 years of international working exposure.
  • Minimum of 15 years of supervisory experience as Offshore Completion Supervisor with Service Contractor or Operator.
  • Well versed in Open or Cased hole gravel pack lower completions tools & operations and completion operations utilizing subsea test tree (Sentree 7 etc.) in conjunction with Landing String.
  • Must have deep water completion experience (semi-submersibles, drillships, and/or floating dry tree units) in West Africa, the Gulf of Mexico, S.E. Asia and in particular in offshore Sabah and Sarawak - East Malaysia.
  • Hands on experience in subsea operations including the installation and testing of tubing hanger operations utilizing wet horizontal trees.
  • Hands on experience in Slickline operations from Semi-Submersible rigs.
  • Hands on experience in Perforating horizontal sections from Semi-Submersible rigs.
  • Must have valid Offshore medical Certificate, & current Survival & Well Services Well Control Certificate.
