Scope of Works:
- Establish and implement the Project Quality Management System (QMS) for assigned projects.
- Develop and maintain Project QA/QC systems to ensure compliance with project and contract requirements.
- Implement Quality System Training and conduct Project Internal Quality Audits, including preparation of audit reports and follow-up on audit findings.
- Monitor and manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented and closed within the required timeline.
- Ensure all welding and NDT inspections performed by contractors comply with approved designs, technical specifications, and applicable standards.
- Monitor and evaluate project quality performance in accordance with the Project Quality Management Plan (PQMP).
- Prepare and maintain Project Quality Management Plans (PQMP) and QA/QC procedures in line with project requirements.
- Coordinate and participate in Site Quality Meetings, including preparation of Minutes of Meeting (MOM).
- Prepare and submit quality reports, documentation, and project quality data as required.
- Monitor daily QA/QC inspection and testing activities to ensure compliance with approved Inspection and Test Plans (ITP) and relevant industry codes and standards.
- Support the Project Quality Manager (PQM) in resolving QA/QC technical issues related to welding, NDT, inspection, and testing activities.
- Ensure source inspection activities are properly conducted in accordance with project requirements.
- Provide quality-related input to project procedures and functional management plans.
- Maintain and continuously improve the Project Quality Management System throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirement(s):
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent qualification in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Energy industries.
- At least 3 years of experience in a position of similar magnitude and complexity.
- Experience working on at least one project of similar size and complexity.
- Hands-on experience in quality assurance and quality control activities in engineering or construction projects.
- Knowledge of relevant international industrial codes and standards, such as:
- ISO 9001
- ISO 29001
- ANSI
- ASME
- AWS
- API
- Certified or trained in ISO 9001 Internal Quality Auditor training.
- Familiar with Quality Management methodologies, including:
- Performance improvement
- Corrective and preventive actions
- Quality assurance processes
- Customer satisfaction principles
- Knowledge in QA/QC inspection processes, including welding and NDT inspection requirements.
- Familiar with Project Quality Management Plans (PQMP) and Inspection & Test Plans (ITP).
- Ability to analyze quality performance and recommend improvements.
- Ability to work independently and lead within an integrated multi-cultural team environment.
