The Opportunity
The firm is seeking a talented Solicitor to join its Band 1 Corporate M&A team in Melbourne. This role offers the chance to work on high-profile domestic and cross-border transactions, providing strategic advice to a diverse client base and to work alongside arguably the best Partners in this space.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise on the full spectrum of corporate transactions, including private and public M&A, takeovers, joint ventures, private equity, venture capital and shareholder arrangements.
• Draft and negotiate core transaction documents while identifying key legal risks and supporting strategic decision-making for clients.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless legal solutions.
• Build trusted relationships with clients and contribute to business development initiatives.

• Mentor and support junior team members, fostering professional growth.

About You

• Admitted to practice law in Australia with 3+ years PQE in corporate M&A.
• Strong academic background and commercial acumen.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
