The Opportunity

The firm is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Construction team in Brisbane.

This role offers the opportunity to work on major infrastructure, energy and resources projects, advising on front-end construction matters including project structuring, risk allocation and contract negotiation. You will work closely with highly regarded partners and act for leading clients across sectors including transport, renewables, mining and large-scale infrastructure developments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise on front-end construction matters including project structuring, delivery models and risk allocation.
  • Draft and negotiate complex construction and project documentation.
  • Support major infrastructure and energy transactions across multiple sectors.
  • Work collaboratively with partners and cross-practice teams on large-scale projects.
  • Build strong client relationships and contribute to the continued growth of the practice.

About You

  • Admitted to practice in Australia or New Zealand with experience in front-end construction or projects law, ideally gained at a top-tier or leading firm.
  • Strong experience drafting and negotiating complex construction and project documentation.
  • Excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong client focus with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • A collaborative mindset with an interest in business development and team contribution.
