Retention Lead

EMCD is a leading technology company in the crypto industry, best known as the largest mining pool in Eastern Europe.

About the role:

We are looking for a Retention Lead to design and execute data-driven user retention strategies across EMCDs products, including mining, trading, and investment solutions.

This role is ideal for a professional who understands the full customer lifecycle and knows how to engage and retain users in dynamic and fast-changing environments such as fintech and crypto.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive retention strategy across all product areas (mining, trading, investment)
• Segment the user base (B2C/B2B; new, active, and dormant users) and design personalized communication journeys
• Manage the entire user lifecycle: activation retention reactivation
• Plan, execute, and analyze A/B tests to increase Retention Rate and LTV
• Develop and launch loyalty mechanics (loyalty programs, bonuses, gamification)
• Collaborate with product and analytics teams to build and visualize key retention metrics (Retention Cohorts, Churn, DAU/MAU)

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in Retention, Lifecycle, or CRM Marketing (preferably in FinTech, Crypto, SaaS, or Gaming)
• Strong understanding of retention metrics: Retention Rate, Churn Rate, LTV, DAU/MAU, ARPPU
• Practical knowledge of retention frameworks (RFM, AARRR, Hook Model).
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Braze, Pushwoosh, Amplitude, Metabase, and SQL (at query level)
• Proven experience in A/B testing and statistical validation of results
• Solid understanding of CRM funnel building and automation (email, push, in-app, Telegram)

• Fluency in Russian and a strong proficiency in English are required
