About the job Head of Sales / Mining Pool Products (EU)

We are seeking a commercially driven and technically fluent leader to spearhead the growth of EMCDs mining pool and turnkey mining solutions across Europe.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing go-to-market strategies, building strategic partnerships with mining ecosystem stakeholders, and leading a regional sales team focused on accelerating connected hashrate and product-market fit for EMCDs mining offerings.

You will play a pivotal role in establishing EMCD as the leading infrastructure and services provider for miners across Europes fragmented and competitive landscape.

Responsibilities

1. Leadership & Team Development

  • Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing regional sales team across key European regions (DACH, Nordics, and more)
  • Provide ongoing coaching and performance management to drive pipeline efficiency and client conversion
  • Foster a culture of ownership, technical curiosity, and customer focus within the sales organization

2. Sales Strategy & Go-To-Market Execution

  • Own the commercial growth strategy for EMCDs mining pool and turnkey mining product across Europe
  • Define regional KPIs and drive execution to meet aggressive hashrate growth targets
  • Develop inbound and outbound acquisition funnels through ecosystem partnerships with hardware resellers, hosting providers, and enterprise miners
  • Identify market opportunities and regulatory nuances to adapt GTM strategies accordingly

3. Partnership & Ecosystem Engagement

  • Build and manage long-term partnerships with mid-size and enterprise mining operations, hardware vendors, and co-location providers
  • Represent EMCD at mining industry events, conferences, and networking forums across Europe
  • Create compelling value propositions tailored to different customer segments (solo miners, service providers, industrial operations)

4. Market Intelligence & Product Fit

  • Analyze regional mining trends, competitive activity, and regulatory shifts (e.g., MiCA framework)
  • Deliver actionable insights to product and marketing teams to ensure regional relevance of EMCD offerings
  • Drive sales growth of EMCD's turnkey mining product

5. Reporting & Strategic Planning

  • Track and report on key sales metrics including connected hashrate, revenue growth, client retention, and conversion rates
  • Contribute to executive-level business planning and performance forecasting

Requirements

Experience

  • 2+ years in cryptocurrency mining or related technical B2B sales roles
  • Demonstrated success scaling sales operations across European markets
  • Proven experience building and managing high-performing sales teams
  • Background in negotiating complex enterprise-level deals or technical partnerships

Expertise

  • Strong understanding of Bitcoin mining economics, ASIC hardware, hosting infrastructure, and pool operations
  • Knowledge of the European mining ecosystem and its regulatory frameworks
  • Ability to bridge technical and commercial conversations with varied stakeholders

Skills & Attributes

  • Strategic thinker with entrepreneurial drive and ownership mindset
  • High EQ and relationship-building skills, especially with technical stakeholders
  • Fluent English; additional European language(s) a strong plus
  • Willingness to travel across Europe (2030% travel expected)
  • Data-driven and outcome-oriented, with a passion for frontier technology
