About the Role:

Emerald Zebra, on behalf of our client, a prestigious legal group, we are seeking an Accountant to join their high-calibre Accounting & Finance team, onsite at their Limassol, Cyprus offices. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of core accounting functions within an established and reputable organisation, contributing to financial accuracy, compliance and business insight.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update accounting records using the company's accounting software
• Prepare and maintain ad-hoc financial reports and analysis
• Perform reconciliations across accounts
• Liaise with creditors, debtors and banks
• Execute payments through web-banking systems
• Contribute to statutory compliance requirements, including Financial Statements, Tax, VAT and external audit support

Your Profile - Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Relevant previous 3+ years of experience 
• Holder of LCCI Higher or GCE A Level
• Currently pursuing or holding a professional qualification (ACCA, AAT or CAT) will be considered an advantage
• IT literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Strong time-management skills and ability to deliver within deadlines
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a professional and collaborative approach
• High standards of work ethics and confidentiality
• Good command of both the Greek and English language

• Competitive remuneration package, including 13th salary -  Salary Range: EUR 23,500 – 30,000 gross/year, based on experience and qualifications
