Business Development Manager (Japanese Market)
A leading global FinTech organisation is expanding its international Business Development division and is seeking a native Japanese professional to drive growth across the Japan market. As Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in strengthening the company's presence in Japan by developing corporate relationships, IB's, managing a small regional team, and building market strategies tailored to Japanese clients. You will work closely with colleagues across time zones, lead initiatives that increase market penetration, and contribute directly to revenue growth within one of the organisation's highest-potential regions.

Responsibilities

  • Identify sales targets and leaders of opinion
  • Document business development activities
  • Present our products and services to new clients
  • Conduct market research regularly
  • Build strategies for specified markets
  • Identify key markets
  • Plan webinars and promotions for targeted markets
  • Maintain good working relations with existing and new clients
  • Arrange meetings with existing and prospective contacts
  • Attend major industry events

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration or any other related field
  • Fluency in Japanese is essential for this position
  • Fluency in English
  • 4+ years in a similar role or as the head of a region within the financial sector, preferably gained working experience in Forex/CFD trading organisation or similar.
  • The role requires managing a small distributed team, leadership/mentoring experience is essential.  
  • Computer literacy with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office apps
  • Ability to face constant challenges, and adapt to changes
  • Ability to keep a proactive position in running a business
  • Ability to travel when required
