Senior Accountant / Bookkeeper, Accounting, Financial Services Firm, Nicosia

An accounting firm located in the Strovolos area of Nicosia is looking to hire an accountant. The firm is focused on serving international clients as well as selected established Cyprus-based businesses, providing high-quality accounting, tax, and compliance services. 


Key Responsibilities

• Handle bookkeeping and accounting records for a portfolio of clients
• Prepare management accounts and related statutory obligations
• Maintain accurate ledgers and reconciliations
  
• Support audits and liaise with external auditors where required
• Ensure compliance with Cyprus accounting and tax standards
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role
• Knowledge of E-Soft accounting software is preferred, not mandatory
• Part-qualified or fully qualified is preferred, not mandatory
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple client files
• Languages: Greek and English
  

Working Hours

• 37.5 hours per week
  
• MondayThursday: 08:00-16:30(30-minute break)
  Friday: 08:00-13:30
  Total weekly hours: 37.5
  Work arrangement: Fully on-site
• Salary & Benefits: Monthly salary starting from 1,750 - 2000 gross (depending on experience and qualifications)
