Emerald Zebra is pleased to be working with a fast-growing payment solutions provider to hire a Business Development Manager for Europe. This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven professional with experience in payment solutions to lead the company's European expansion.



About the Role:

As the Business Development Manager, you will play a key part in accelerating our client's growth in Europe by generating leads, engaging prospects, and closing high-value deals within targeted verticals. You will act as a trusted advisor, helping merchants understand and adopt cutting-edge payment processing solutions that elevate their business performance.

This role is ideal for a proactive, relationship-focused individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is motivated by achieving results.  


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, cold outreach, and referrals.
  • Client Engagement: Build and nurture strong relationships with prospects and existing customers to understand their needs and tailor solutions.
  • Sales Presentations: Deliver product demos and presentations that clearly articulate the value of the company's clients payment processing technologies.
  • Negotiation & Closing: Handle objections, negotiate terms, and close sales deals to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Market Research: Monitor trends, competitors, and market conditions to identify new growth opportunities.
  • Collaboration: Partner with the marketing team to align lead-generation strategies and ensure cohesive messaging.
  • Reporting: Track and update sales activity, customer interactions, and pipeline status within the CRM system.
  • Customer Follow-Up: Provide ongoing post-sale support to ensure satisfaction and identify upselling opportunities.



Your Profile:

  • Bachelors degree in business, marketing, or related field (preferred).
  • 3-5 years of sales experience within the payment processing industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of payment processing technologies and solutions.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms and sales tools.
  • An established merchant and industry network is considered a plus.
  • Fluent in English is a must, any other languages are considered a plus.
  • Results-Oriented: Driven to exceed expectations and contribute to revenue growth.
  • Excellent Communicator: Able to convey complex information with clarity and confidence.
  • Relationship Builder: Naturally personable, with strong rapport-building skills.
  • Self-Motivated: Works independently and manages time effectively.
  • Problem Solver: Able to assess client challenges and propose tailored solutions.
  • Adaptable: Comfortable adjusting to market shifts and a dynamic work environment.
