Head of Trading Operations and Risk FX/CFD (Remote)

About the Role:

A high-growth international brokerage is seeking a Head of Trading Operations & Risk to play a central role in its global expansion. You will oversee daily trading operations, develop and implement risk monitoring frameworks, and ensure technology alignment across the organisation.

This role offers the opportunity to shape both strategy and day-to-day execution in a brokerage that combines startup energy with strong financial backing. The company operates under an FSC license but holds itself to the discipline and rigor of stricter regimes such as CySEC, FCA, and ESMA. As part of a fully remote team across Europe and Southeast Asia, you will bring best practices from regulated markets into an ambitious, fast-scaling environment.

The successful candidate will thrive in building scalable structures, managing teams, and embedding operational excellence, while also remaining hands-on in monitoring systems and risk.

Responsibilities:

Oversee daily trading operations, execution, and system stability.

Build, monitor, and refine risk management frameworks.

Align technology platforms with operational and risk requirements.

Provide leadership, mentoring, and clear direction to the operations and risk teams.

Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure growth objectives are met without compromising discipline.

Report on operational risks and provide recommendations for mitigation.

Requirements:

Minimum 8 -10 years experience in FX/CFD trading and risk management. Deep knowledge of risk management tools & methodologies

• MT5/MT4 familiarity

• Operational oversight of trading systems

• Proven people management

Nice to haves:

• Experience with automation/AI-driven risk systems

• Familiarity with FIX protocol

• Exposure to high-frequency/institutional client flows

• Cross-regulatory knowledge (ESMA, offshore, emerging jurisdictions)
