Audit Manager, Larnaca

Audit Manager, managing a small team of 3 accountants. 

Our client is an established audit firm based in Larnaca, providing Audit, Taxation, Accounting and Advisory services. Join their team and grow professionally in a professional and collaborative environment, with great working hours.

Position Duties

• Manage a portfolio of clients and deliver high quality audit service 
• Manage, plan and review statutory audits according to the International Auditing Standards
• Oversee audit planning, execution, and completion of audit engagement performed by audit team member
• Prepare/review financial statements and ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting

Standards/ other regulatory requirements

• Prepare and review tax computations and tax returns
• Communicate with clients in relation to their tax compliance
• Monitor and provide guidance, training, and support to audit team members
• Communication with clients and evaluation of their needs and provide support/ guidance
• Collaborate with the Director in organizing, planning and implementing policies in relation to the Audit Engagements

Position Requirements

1. Relevant Experience for Review of Audit Engagements: 3-5 years
2. Strong technical knowledge of Audit Standards and audit methodology
3. Strong technical knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards
4. University degree with grade 2:1 or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Management, Business Administration, or similar discipline
5. Holder of a Professional Accounting Qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA)
6. Excellent communication skills and a client-oriented mindset
7. Solid working experience with Caseware and audit software
8. Fluent in Greek and English languages (written and spoken)
