Our client is a fast-scaling technology group behind multiple in-house app studios (Android & iOS utilities) and majority stakes in app companies across the US and Europe. Over the past 2.5 years, their apps ecosystem has grown at a pace far beyond expectations, and they are now seeking a dedicated Group CFO to establish and lead the finance function for this business unit.

The Opportunity

This is a rare chance to join a global business (8,000+ employees worldwide) at a strategic moment. You will take ownership of the finance function for the entire apps business spanning app creation, distribution, and monetisation while reporting directly to the CEO of the apps business and working closely with the wider group leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead finance strategy, governance, and reporting for all app studios and investments.
• Build and scale a dedicated finance team (with initial resources available internally).
• Oversee P&L, payments, compliance, and financial reporting.
• Ensure structures align with both US and Cayman Islands regulatory/tax environments.
• Provide strategic financial input into growth, investments, and scaling decisions.
• Partner with senior leadership while remaining hands-on in a fast-moving, start-up-style environment.

About You

• Senior finance leader (CFO/Group Finance Director level) with tech / apps / ad-tech ecosystem experience.
• Strong knowledge of US and Cayman Islands structures.
• Track record of building finance teams and systems from the ground up.
• Adaptable to remote, global, cross-cultural teams.
• Comfortable with flexible working hours across time zones (US India overlap).
• Collaborative leader who thrives in a start-up mindset within a large global organisation.
