Emerald Zebra is retained to appoint a Group Head of Human Resources, a pivotal leadership position reporting into the executive team. This is a rare opportunity to shape the people agenda across a complex, multi-jurisdictional group at a transformative stage of its growth.

Scope of the Role:
Strategic Leadership & Advisory
- Develop and execute the Group's People Strategy, ensuring full alignment with commercial objectives and growth plans.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on all people-related matters, including organisational design, change management, and culture transformation.
- Coach and guide managers and executives on leadership effectiveness, team dynamics, and complex HR matters.
HR Operations, Compliance & Governance
- Oversee HR systems, processes, and data integrity across all group entities, ensuring operational excellence.
- Ensure full compliance with labour legislation and regulatory requirements across all jurisdictions.
- Lead the development, review, and enforcement of group-wide HR policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
- Manage complex employee relations cases including grievances, disciplinary matters, and sensitive investigations.
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Define and lead the recruitment strategy across all business functions, ensuring a consistent pipeline of high-calibre talent.
- Drive strategic workforce planning and succession management to support long-term business continuity.
- Partner with hiring managers to ensure timely, quality recruitment aligned with headcount plans and commercial priorities.
Performance, Engagement & Development
- Own the performance management framework, driving accountability and high-performance culture across the group.
- Lead employee engagement, recognition, and culture initiatives that attract, retain, and inspire top talent.
- Champion learning and development programmes that build internal capability and support career progression.
- Oversee the full employee lifecycle: onboarding, contracts, development, offboarding, and everything in between.
Candidate Profile:
Experience & Qualifications
- 7-10+ years of progressive HR experience with a minimum of 3- 5 years at Director level or equivalent within a multinational environment.
- Demonstrable experience leading the full HR function across multiple jurisdictions, ideally within FinTech, financial services, or a similarly regulated, high-growth industry.
- Proven track record of partnering with C-suite executives and influencing at board level.
- Strong background across all core HR disciplines: employee relations, performance management, talent acquisition, L&D, compensation, and policy governance.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field. An MBA or Master's in HR/Organisational Psychology is highly desirable.
- Fluent English with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Additional languages are a plus.
