About the Role:

On behalf of our client, a prestigious legal group, we are seeking a Junior Accountant to join their high-calibre Accounting & Finance team onsite at their Limassol, Cyprus offices. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for an aspiring finance professional to develop within a well-established organisation, gaining hands-on exposure to a broad range of accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update accounting records using the company's accounting software
• Prepare and maintain ad-hoc financial reports and analysis
• Perform reconciliations across accounts
• Execute payments through web-banking systems
• Contribute to statutory compliance requirements, including VAT, Financial Statements and Tax

Your Profile - Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Previous relevant experience 1-2 years
• Holder of LCCI Higher or GCE A Level
• IT literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Strong time-management skills and adherence to deadlines
• Keen to learn, with a positive attitude and a collaborative team-player mindset
• Strong work ethics, confidentiality and a professional approach
• Good command of both the Greek and English language
• Intention to obtain a professional qualification (ACCA or CAT), considered an advantage
