Salary Range: Circa Euro 54,000 per annum
Hybrid - 2-3 days per week in the office.
About the Role:
The Head of Finance will be offering services for operations in Cyprus and Seychelles and is responsible for overseeing the company's financial operations, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance across all financial activities. Managing a team of 3 and working closely with department heads and auditors, this role focuses on accounting, reconciliation, financial planning and analysis, and coordination with financial institutions to support decision-making and safeguarding of company assets.
What You Will Do:
1) Financial Management and Reporting:
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Monitor day-to-day accounting operations, journal entries, and financial reconciliations.
- Oversee all bookkeeping, ledger management, and financial record-keeping.
2) Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Prepare and manage the company's budget in consultation with department heads.
- Provide financial insights to support decision-making.
3) Payment Oversight and Treasury Functions:
- Work with the Operations Department to ensure proper oversight of client deposits, withdrawals, and internal transfers.
- Maintain accurate records of cash positions, including segregated client accounts where applicable.
- Manage relationships with financial institutions, PSPs, and auditors.
4) Regulatory and Tax Compliance:
- Ensure accurate and timely tax filings, financial reports, and regulatory returns.
- Liaise with auditors and regulatory authorities during audits and inspections.
5) Internal Controls and Process Improvement:
- Develop and implement financial controls and procedures to safeguard assets.
- Ensure segregation of duties and oversight of financial workflows.
- Recommend improvements to streamline reporting and enhance efficiency.
6) Cross Departmental Collaboration:
- Collaborate with Operations and Compliance functions to ensure transparency in transaction flows and internal reporting.
- Support strategic planning with timely financial data and analysis.
- Assist in evaluating commercial terms for partner agreements from a financial perspective.
7) Specific Accountability Examples:
- Timely and accurate submission of financial statements and reports.
- Budget adherence and analysis of deviations.
- Correct handling of client and operational funds.
- Positive outcomes from audits and financial inspections.

Who We Are Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or operations, ideally in Dubai.
- Good knowledge of budgeting, reporting, reconciliation, and financial controls.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
