Role Overview
We are seeking a senior‑level product leader to head Technical Product Management for Grid Control Room and T&D Automation & Control software solutions. This role will define product strategy, drive innovation, lead a high‑performing product team, and support technical sales efforts across the U.S. market.
You will shape the future of grid automation, SCADA/ADMS/DERMS platforms, renewable integration, and next‑generation energy management systems.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Roadmap
- Define and execute product vision for SCADA, ADMS, DERMS, Field Force Automation, Power Plant Controllers, and Hybrid Energy Management Systems
- Build multi‑year product roadmaps aligned with market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies
- Ensure alignment between customer needs, business strategy, and engineering execution
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor Technical Product Managers across multiple product lines
- Establish product frameworks including agile processes, lifecycle management, and go‑to‑market strategy
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and customer‑centricity
Product Development & Execution
- Prioritize features and enhancements for grid automation and control software
- Partner with engineering and delivery teams to ensure timely, high‑quality releases
- Drive adoption of cloud, AI/ML, and edge computing technologies
Market & Customer Engagement
- Engage with utilities, regulators, and industry stakeholders to understand market needs
- Stay ahead of cybersecurity, interoperability, and grid modernization standards
- Support sales with product positioning, demos, competitive intelligence, and RFP responses
Technical Sales Support (USA)
- Serve as the technical liaison between product teams and U.S. sales
- Provide pre‑sales support, solution presentations, and customer engagement
- Translate customer feedback into product enhancements
Financial & Business Impact
- Optimize pricing, licensing, and monetization models
- Define and track KPIs to measure product success and market adoption
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years in Technical Product Management for T&D Automation & Control software
- Deep expertise in SCADA, ADMS, DERMS, Grid Automation, Protection & Control, and Grid Analytics
- Strong background in software development, cloud platforms, AI/ML, and edge computing
- Experience working with utilities, regulatory bodies, and grid modernization initiatives
- Knowledge of industry standards: IEC 61850, CIM, IEEE 2030.5, OpenFMB, NERC CIP
- Experience supporting technical sales or pre‑sales in the North American market
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's/MBA preferred
