Job Overview

Emirates Talent Solution is seeking a Finance Manager for a leading property development and real estate company based in Karachi. The ideal candidate will bring 7–10 years of solid experience in finance and accounting, with a proven background in the real estate or property development sector.

The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day financial operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing cash flow and budgeting, and providing strategic financial insights to support the companys growth and profitability.

Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Planning & Analysis

  • Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and financial models aligned with business objectives.
  • Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and provide insightful recommendations to management.
  • Support senior leadership with timely and accurate financial reports for strategic decision-making.

Financial Reporting & Compliance

  • Oversee the preparation of balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow reports.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS and all local financial regulations.
  • Manage audit processes, liaising with external auditors and ensuring transparent reporting.

Cash Flow & Treasury Management

  • Manage daily cash flow and banking operations to ensure adequate liquidity for ongoing and new projects.
  • Oversee loan payments, reconciliations, and treasury functions.
  • Develop and maintain cash flow forecasts to support property investments and financial planning.

Cost Control & Risk Management

  • Implement cost-control initiatives to enhance financial efficiency.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks through effective internal controls.
  • Monitor project-related expenditures to ensure adherence to approved budgets.

Team Supervision

  • Lead, mentor, and develop junior accountants and finance team members.
  • Provide training on accounting practices, reporting standards, and ERP systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting and reporting processes.

Taxation & Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure full compliance with corporate tax, VAT, and other local financial regulations.
  • Oversee tax filings and audits, and coordinate with consultants and government authorities.
  • Stay updated with changes in Pakistans tax and real estate regulatory framework.

Key RequirementsEducation

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

Certifications

  • CA, ACCA, CPA, or CMA (qualified or part-qualified preferred).

Experience

  • 7–10 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting.
  • At least 3–5 years in a mid-to-senior finance role within property development or real estate.

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems (QuickBooks, SAP, or equivalent).
  • Strong understanding of IFRS, local tax laws, and financial compliance.
  • Hands-on experience in budgeting, financial reporting, and reconciliations.

Soft Skills

  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
