We are seeking qualified and motivated trade professionals to join our Service team. These roles involve diagnostics, repairs, servicing and maintenance of agricultural, turf and diesel-powered equipment, including electrical, electronic, hydraulic and mechanical systems.
Automotive Electrician
Duties and Responsibilities
- Diagnose electrical and electronic faults using test equipment and diagnostic tools.
- Repair and replace faulty wiring, ignition systems, alternators, starter motors, voltage regulators, fuses, lamps and switches.
- Install and connect electrical equipment, electronic components and power-operated accessories.
- Adjust engine control systems and timing.
- Carry out servicing and maintenance on agricultural and turf equipment.
- Complete service reports, timesheets and related documentation.
- Maintain tools, equipment and a safe, clean work area.
Qualifications
- AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV (ANZSCO Skill Level 3) or
similar.
- At least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications listed above.
Skills and Experience
- Experience in diagnosing and repairing automotive electrical and electronic systems.
- Ability to use test equipment and diagnostic tools to identify electrical faults.
- Ability to install, maintain and repair electrical wiring and electronic components.
- Ability to perform repairs and maintenance using technical manuals, special tools and manufacturer procedures.
- Basic computer skills, including the ability to use Service Advisor or similar systems.
- Good fault-finding, communication and safety awareness.
- Current driver's licence required; forklift licence preferred.
- Comprehensive trade tool kit required.
Diesel Motor Mechanics
Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostics, repairs, servicing and maintenance on agricultural and turf equipment.
- Inspect and repair diesel engines and associated mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems.
- Carry out scheduled servicing using technical manuals and specialised tools.
- Operate vehicles and equipment for testing and diagnostic purposes.
- Complete service documentation and maintain tools, vehicles and workshop equipment.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and company policies.
Qualifications
- AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV (ANZSCO Skill Level 3) or similar.
- At least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications listed above.
Skills and Experience
- Experience in diesel engine repairs and equipment maintenance.
- Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in the repair of agricultural, turf, plant or similar equipment.
- Ability to perform repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment in accordance with technical manuals and manufacturer procedures.
- Ability to use diagnostic tools, service manuals and basic computer systems.
- Ability to use Service Advisor and other basic computer functions.
- Good troubleshooting, communication and safety awareness.
- Current driver's licence required; forklift licence preferred.
- Comprehensive trade tool kit required.
