About the Role

We're seeking a Material / Production Scheduling Analyst to join our manufacturing operations team in Saginaw, TX. In this role, you'll manage production schedules, monitor material shortages, coordinate vendor orders, and proactively ensure the seamless flow of materials from suppliers to the production line. This position demands strong ERP experience, advanced Excel skills, attention to detail, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Production Scheduling & Prioritization

  • Prepare and run the daily Hot List (including expedites and move-outs).

  • Prepare and run the All-in-One Report every morning and afternoon to track production flow.

  • Adjust and manage schedules by booking orders from the Hot List.

Material Procurement

  • Review and process material order sheets.

  • Monitor stock sheet levels and reorder inventory as needed.

  • Confirm delivery dates and pricing with vendors.

Shortage Management

  • Investigate and resolve material shortage alerts, correct ERP data, and confirm availability.

  • Log and analyze shortages for reporting and continuous improvement.

Inventory Tracking

  • Update the ERP system based on purchase order movements.

  • Monitor daily MSF (Material Square Footage) flow by machine and plant.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in production scheduling, materials coordination, or procurement.

  • ERP system experience (Amtech Oncore preferred; transferable ERP experience acceptable).

  • Advanced Excel skillsVLOOKUP required; pivot tables a plus.

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage shifting priorities.

  • Manufacturing or packaging industry experience is highly preferred.

  • Accurate tracking of MSF at Machine / by Plant.

  • Efficient MSF Flow by Day, reflecting timely material movement.

  • Reduction in the number of shortage alerts over time.
