ROLE OVERVIEW:

We are seeking two Accounting Staff members to join our team. The Accounting Staff will support day-to-day financial operations, including maintaining records, preparing reports, reconciling accounts, and assisting with payroll and audits. This role is suited for detail-oriented professionals with a strong foundation in accounting, finance, and compliance, and who can work collaboratively within a team structure.

WORK ARRANGEMENT:

  • Engagement Type: Full-time Employee (Direct Hire)
  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid; Remote work with onsite reporting once a month
  • Availability: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (Philippine Time)
  • Location: 36, Annex 38 Circle, Better Living Subdivision, Brgy Don Bosco, Parañaque City (Home Office)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain Financial Records: Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
  • Reconcile Accounts: Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts on a regular basis.
  • Prepare Financial Reports: Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and summaries according to company guidelines.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process invoices, payments, and manage accounts payable and receivable ledgers.
  • Payroll Processing: Assist with payroll preparation and processing as needed.
  • Expense Reporting: Track and reconcile employee expense reports.
  • Data Entry: Accurately input financial data into accounting software and ensure data integrity.
  • Assist with Audits: Provide support during internal and external audits.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations.
  • Support Month-End and Year-End Close Processes: Assist in closing activities, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform administrative duties such as filing, copying, and organizing financial documents.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience in accounting or a related field
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks)
  • Strong knowledge in financial management, budgeting, reporting, and compliance
  • Skilled in client relationship management and issue resolution
  • Strong communication skills, especially in conveying financial information clearly
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Analytical and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively

COMPENSATION:

  • Php 25,000.00 monthly

REPORTING LINE:

  • Reports to the Accounting Supervisor
