Platform Governance Expert

ROLE OVERVIEW:

The Platform Governance Expert will ensure that eCommerce pilot projects comply with governance policies and standards while supporting overall project management. This role provides specialized expertise to maintain data integrity, risk mitigation, and governance alignment throughout the pilot lifecycle.

WORK ARRANGEMENT:

• Engagement Type: Billable-Only Resource (exclusive to project), billable hours with a maximum hourly cap of 160 hours per month.
• Work Arrangement: 100% Remote
• Tools & Platforms: Collaboration tools, project trackers, and communication platforms (e.g., email, chat, video conferencing) to be provided and maintained by the client in the food and beverage industry.
• Availability: Aligned with the clients working hours, with flexibility to attend meetings and coordination sessions as required.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENT:

• Computer/Laptop: At least Intel i5 equivalent or higher and 8GB RAM or higher.
• Stable Internet Connection: Minimum speed must be 25Mbps (download) and 10Mbps (upload), wired connection is preferred (but not required), and back up connection is a plus.
• Peripherals: Built-in or external webcam, headset with microphone (noise cancelling is a plus)
• Backup power source is a ideal, but not required

COMPENSATION TERMS:

• The Platform Governance Expert shall be compensated at an hourly rate.
• The maximum monthly billable hours shall not exceed 160 hours.
• Compensation will be based on actual hours worked, up to the maximum monthly cap.
• Payment shall be processed according to the agreed billing cycle and in accordance with the invoicing guidelines set by the client.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide technical expertise and input on platform governance for pilot initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to data governance standards and policies during pilot testing.
• Identify and address issues, providing recommendations for risk mitigation.
• Provide recommendations for optimal resource allocation to support pilot project success.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support pilot project implementation and compliance.
• Support project performance monitoring and provide insights to address concerns and delays.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Business, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in platform governance, IT governance, or data governance roles.
• Strong understanding of governance frameworks and compliance requirements.
• Proven ability to manage and resolve issues in project settings.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
