ROLE OVERVIEW:

The Multimedia Artist will be responsible for producing high-quality visual and audio-visual content across a variety of formats including animations, video edits, motion graphics, and static design. This role combines creative storytelling with technical expertise to support marketing, branding, and communication initiatives across digital platforms.

WORK ARRANGEMENT:

  • Engagement Type: Independent Contractor, billable hours with a maximum hourly cap per month of 180 hours per month.
  • Work Arrangement: 100% Remote
  • Tools & Platforms: Collaboration tools, project trackers, and communication platforms (e.g., email, chat, video conferencing).
  • Availability: Aligned with the clients working hours, with flexibility to attend meetings and coordination sessions as required.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENT:

  • Computer/Laptop: At least Intel i5 equivalent or higher and 8GB RAM or higher.
  • Stable Internet Connection: Minimum speed must be 25Mbps (download) and 10Mbps (upload), wired connection is preferred (but not required), and back up connection is a plus.
  • Peripherals: Built-in or external webcam, headset with microphone (noise cancelling is a plus)
  • Backup power source is a ideal, but not required

COMPENSATION TERMS:

  • The Multimedia Artist shall be compensated at an hourly rate
  • The maximum monthly billable hours shall not exceed 180 hours
  • Compensation will be based on actual hours worked, up to the maximum monthly cap.
  • Payment shall be processed according to the agreed billing cycle and in accordance with the invoicing guidelines set by the client.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design and produce multimedia assets such as motion graphics, animations, explainer videos, video edits, GIFs, and visual graphics for digital platforms
  • Collaborate with creative and marketing teams to conceptualize and execute compelling visual stories aligned with brand strategy
  • Edit raw footage and audio clips into cohesive final outputs for various formats (social media, presentations, training materials, etc.)
  • Design thumbnails, overlays, transitions, and other graphic elements for video and interactive content
  • Maintain consistency in branding and visual language across all multimedia outputs
  • Stay updated on design trends, motion techniques, and emerging multimedia tools
  • Organize and manage digital assets in a shared file system for team access

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors degree in Multimedia Arts, Digital Media, Visual Communication, or related field
  • 2-4 years of professional experience in multimedia production, animation, or video editing
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator); knowledge of tools like Blender, DaVinci Resolve, or Cinema 4D is a plus
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of multimedia work including animation, motion graphics, and video edits
  • Experience creating content optimized for various digital platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn)
  • Strong storytelling skills with a keen eye for composition, pacing, and detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and collaborative skills
