JOB OVERVIEW:

The Media Manager serves as the primary media team lead, responsible for guiding strategic direction, campaign planning, and execution across multiple accounts. This role functions as both a client-facing brand expert and an internal team leader overseeing supervisors and planners while ensuring the delivery of innovative, data-driven media plans. The Media Manager is a strategic partner to both the client and creative teams, driving results through collaboration, communication, and strong account management.

WORK ARRANGEMENT:

  • Engagement Type: Full-time fixed-term contract
  • Duration: 3 months up to 12 months
  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid; 2 days onsite in Makati City and 3 days remote
  • Tools & Platforms: Collaboration tools, project trackers, and communication platforms (e.g., email, chat, video conferencing)

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENT:

  • Computer/Laptop: At least Intel i5 equivalent or higher and 8GB RAM or higher.
  • Stable Internet Connection: Minimum speed must be 25Mbps (download) and 10Mbps (upload), wired connection is preferred (but not required), and back up connection is a plus.
  • Peripherals: Built-in or external webcam, headset with microphone (noise cancelling is a plus)
  • Backup power source is a ideal, but not required

COMPENSATION TERMS:

  • The Media Manager shall be compensated at a monthly rate.
  • Payment shall be processed according to the agreed billing cycle and in accordance with the invoicing guidelines as standardized by the Company.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead integrated media strategy, planning, and buying across multiple client accounts.
  • Partner with the internal strategy team to build communications plans that align with client brand goals and marketing direction.
  • Translate communications strategies into actionable, high-performing media plans.
  • Provide mentorship and direction to media planning teams, ensuring understanding of various media channels and their alignment with client strategies.
  • Maintain strong client relationships, staying informed about client business objectives, market position, and competitor activity.
  • Communicate effectively with the Media Director (or equivalent) to provide updates, escalate concerns, and support overall account health.
  • Manage teams of supervisors, planners, and assistant planners to ensure efficient execution and growth.
  • Execute other responsibilities as necessary to fulfill campaign and client expectations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in media planning/buying across traditional and digital channels
  • Proven leadership in managing teams and multiple client accounts
  • Strong client management, communication, and project coordination skills
  • Proficient in media tools (e.g., Google Ads, Meta, DSPs, analytics platforms)
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in ROI-focused campaigns
  • Familiarity with CRM and marketing automation tools
