Salary Range $155,000 $200,000

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Nurse Manager to oversee nursing operations in our Client's healthcare facility. The ideal candidate will ensure high-quality patient care, manage nursing staff, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes. This role requires strong leadership skills, clinical expertise, and a commitment to fostering a supportive environment for patients and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate nursing staff activities to ensure efficient patient care delivery.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures related to nursing practices.
  • Monitor patient care standards and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing training for nursing staff.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans, including discharge planning.

Requirements

  • 5 years of clinical nursing experience relevant to a given position/department is required.
  • 3 years of management, supervisory or leadership experience. 
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
  • Proven experience in a managerial or supervisory role within a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Education

  • Academic degree in nursing required (Bachelors or Masters degree).
  • Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
  • BSN and National Health/Nursing Administration Certification or MSN are required for PICU and NICU Departments for facilities that are CCS certified or desire CCS certification.

License, Certification, Registration

  • Registered Nurse License (California)
  • Basic Life Support
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience with electronic medical record.
  • Masters degree.
  • National Certification in specialty.
