Job brief

We are looking for a Business Development Manager with excellent communication and leadership abilities to lead, and develop business development programs, and set and meet the KPIs.

Job Scope 

  • Client Liaison: Manage communication with clients at all levels, handling administrative tasks related to business agreements and contracts. 
  • Marketing & Offer Development: Develop and present tailored marketing offers for major accounts across key market sectors. 
  • Client Engagement: Respond to client inquiries and follow up regularly across Thailand using diverse communication channels. 
  • Account Management: Support and nurture long-term relationships with existing customers through personalized account management.
  • Reporting & Updates: Provide regular updates to the management team on marketing activities, working closely with relevant departments. 
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and report on marketing activities, ensuring alignment with company objectives. 
  • Market Research: Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and customer surveys to guide strategy. 
  • Client Meetings: Attend meetings to understand clients' marketing needs and contribute to business development strategies. 
  • Marketing Alignment: Ensure that marketing plans are aligned with company policies, focusing on quality, cost-efficiency, and impact. 
  • Project Oversight: Manage all aspects of regional marketing activities, including resources for human, financial, and logistical needs. 

Required Education and Experience: 

  • Education: Minimum of a Degree in Engineering or a related field. Experience: -3-5 years in progressively senior roles in marketing or business development with a proven track record. 
  • Sales Background: A strong sales background, particularly in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), is highly advantageous.
  • Industry Engagement: Membership in relevant professional organizations and participation in industry events preferred. 
  • Regional Expertise: Proven business development success in Thailand, with a focus on cultivating and maintaining client relationships. 
  • Travel: Regional and occasional international travel required. 

Required Knowledge and Skills: 

  • Executive Engagement: Comfortable interacting with senior executives and decision-makers. 
  • Communication Skills: Strong ability to create professional proposals, presentations, and effectively communicate with clients. 
  • Influence & Persuasion: Skilled in influencing and persuading others to support business proposals and objectives. 
  • Relationship Building: Excellent at building long-term, sustainable client relationships. 
  • Written and Verbal Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities. 
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office; experience with CRM software is a plus.
