(Protege) Test Automation - Kwasa Damansara

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support MIP enhancement items by assisting in automation test design, script updates and execution for approved improvements

• Support EIP enhancement items by contributing to automation coverage, regression updates and validation of new or enhanced features
• Maintain and execute the automation test backlog, including:

I. Developing new automated test cases

II. Enhancing existing scripts

III. Refactoring scripts based on changing requirements or defects

IV. Monitor the health of automation regression, including daily/regular execution results, Failure analysis (genuine defect vs script issues vs environment issues) and timely fixing of unstable or broken scripts

• Participate in project deliveries as part of Scrum teams, working alongside permanent staff to understand user stories and acceptance criteria
• Prepare and execute:

I. Support sprint testing, regression and release readiness

II. Collaborate closely with Test Engineers, Test Leads and Developers to ensure testing is aligned with sprint goals and delivery timelines

III. Ensure test artefacts (test cases, automation scripts, results) are updated, traceable and compliant with QA standards and tools used by the team

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or Software Engineering or a related discipline
• Fresh graduates or candidate with 2-years experience with software testing, quality assurance or test automation are encouraged to apply
• Comprehensive understanding of software testing concepts, test automation principles, and the software development life cycle (SDLC)
• Ability to independently work on projects and deliver within the allocated time and budget.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective interaction with internal and external customers
