Senior Acoustics & Vibrations Project Engineer (Employed or freelance)

📋 Tasks and responsibilities

You will contribute to engineering and consultancy assignments related to buildings and infrastructure, covering phases such as feasibility, design, technical support during construction and on-site follow-up. The work is mainly carried out in Belgium, with occasional involvement in international projects.

This role focuses on acoustics and vibrations, including environmental acoustics, building acoustics and structural dynamics.

• Carry out specific noise and vibration measurements.
• Analyse measurement data and prepare reports with the relevant indicators in line with standards and legislation.
• Model and simulate the generation, propagation and impact of noise and vibration in open and built environments using specialised software.
• Work with stakeholders to identify the most appropriate solutions through a problem-solving approach.
• Ensure delivery of engineering services within budget, timing and quality expectations.
• Make sure assigned projects are executed in line with the applicable quality procedures and health & safety rules.
