📋 Tasks and responsibilities

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for identifying and attracting top talent for the organization. You’ll collaborate with Hiring Managers to understand the staffing needs. This role involves sourcing, recruiting, and onboarding skilled workers within various departments.

Project description:

We are looking for a talent acquiisiton officer to join the team for finding the right candidates for different departments.
You'll lead the recruitment of 20-25 open vacancies for our client Umicore.

Primary Tasks and responsibilities

- Work closely with hiring managers to understand specific job requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Create and align job postings according to the client's standards.
- Conduct initial screenings and interviews to assess candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
- Build and maintain relationships with potential candidates and industry contacts to create a talent pipeline.
- Track and report on recruitment metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of sourcing strategies.

📝Your profile

Technical profile requirements

- 7+ Years experience within Recruitment , preferably in a similar industry
- Experience with recruitment of blue collar profiles is a must have
- Experience managing high volume requisitions in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of labour laws and regulations related to hiring.
- Knowledge of SHL tests and questionnaires is a plus (OPQ, MQ, G+)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ATS (SuccessFactors, ...)

Non-Technical profile requirements

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong listening skills and interviewing skills


Methodology/Certification requirements
- Bachelors degree in HR, Business administration or relevant field


Language proficiencies
- Fluent speaking and writing English
- Fluent speaking and writing Dutch
- proficiency in other languages is a major plus (German and/or French)


Location
- min. 3days/Week onsite presence in Hoboken & Olen Office, during onboarding period fulltime
