Location: Antwerp, Belgium

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Industrial IT Project Manager to join our team at Engie.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the implementation of IT integrations in complex industrial environments and cross-functional coordination with global and local teams.

The scope includes power plants in Europe.

The candidate will have to manage complex projects to integrate newly constructed or acquired power plants into ENGIEs systems to remotely monitor and control, while ensuring compliancy with the ENGIE ICS Compliancy Framework.

He is expected to show proven experience in the implementation of IT integration of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage IT integration projects at thermal, hydro and BESS plants, while ensuring the application of best practices, while taking into account all lessons learned from previous projects at ENGIE;
• Apply ENGIE standard solutions with regard to Network Infrastructure, Secure remote Connectivity for ENGIE workers (iSSL) and external stakeholders (iVPN), Workplace, Cybersecurity, Physical Security (including CCTV and Access Control), Interfaces to Plant Information (PI) historian systems, Technical PCs, Hosting, Digital Applications, Telephony, Public Address,
• Sponsor & Steerco alignment and C-level progress reporting;
• Liaise with Business Development to ensure proper incorporation of IT requirements in the calls for tender to candidate power plant constructors & to define a clear Division of Responsibility to clearly align scope between all different stakeholders in asset construction projects;
• Keep close view on the intermediate asset construction milestones to deliver IT prerequisites in line with the overall project schedule towards first energization date and COD date of the asset;
• Master the management of scope, budget and schedules for the integration of new assets, while ensuring the business continuity of co-located operational assets.

Requirements:

• At least 10 years of experience in IT integration projects in industrial assets in the energy sector;
• At least three successful experiences in implementing industrial IT solutions in BESS power plants;
• At least 5 successful experiences in leading industrial IT projects in power plants in the energy sector;
• SCRUM, Prince2 Foundation & Practitioner, and PMP certification (in good standing);
• Familiarity with powerplant operations;
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel independently to powerplants across Europe.
• Strong communication skills to ensure third parties' expectations and understanding of the situation, allowing timely delivery of objectives.
• Proficient/Fluent in French, Dutch and English.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proven experience in integrating and managing complex industrial IT systems;
• Strong understanding of ENGIE R&Fs standard solutions with regard to Network Infrastructure, Secure remote Connectivity for ENGIE workers (iSSL) and external stakeholders (iVPN), Workplace, Cybersecurity, Physical Security (including CCTV and Access Control), Interfaces to Plant Information (PI) historian systems, Technical PCs, Hosting, Digital Applications, Fixed and Mobile Telephony, Walky-Talky, Public Address,
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment;
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
