Role Overview:

  • Ensure operational excellence and continuous improvement within the Commercial Channels and Products domain.
  • Operate at the intersection of product ownership, IT delivery, and business operations.
  • Lead transformation towards DevOps and a product-oriented operating model while ensuring reliability, efficiency, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Application & Lifecycle Management

  • Reinforce application ownership, ensuring business alignment and multi-channel delivery.
  • Oversee application governance, performance reporting, and lifecycle management.

Vendor & Process Management

  • Coordinate RFP processes for domain-relevant tools, software, and licenses.
  • Evaluate vendor proposals, ensuring they align with operational and strategic goals.

Change & Transition Oversight

  • Mentor teams in compiling complex cut-over and migration plans.
  • Provide guidance to ensure low-risk transitions during system changes or releases.

Operational Excellence

  • Optimize release and change processes for efficiency and reliability.
  • Track KPIs, identify bottlenecks, and recommend improvements.

DevOps & Automation

  • Promote DevOps adoption across development, operations, and business teams.
  • Encourage automation, CI/CD, and agile collaboration.

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Support NIS2 certification processes and cybersecurity compliance efforts.
  • Assist in disaster recovery planning and critical incident readiness.

Organizational Transformation

  • Lead operational transformation to service- and product-oriented models.
  • Align teams, processes, and governance structures to support change while maintaining operational integrity.

Conformity Criteria:

Experience Requirements

  • 15+ years of strategic and operational leadership in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
  • 10+ years in product management within complex digital environments.
  • 5+ years in public transport sector, particularly in sales platforms.
  • 5+ years in application lifecycle, release management, and governance.

Methodology & Management

  • 10+ years of project and change management experience, including mentoring in cut-over planning.
  • 10+ years of experience with SAFe and Agile methodologies.

Language Proficiency

  • English: C1 level (written and spoken)
  • Dutch or French: C1 level (written and spoken)
