About Our Client:

Our client is an EPC company that specializes in solar energy, from design and engineering to procurement and installation of solar panel projects.

Position Overview:

As Head of Business Development, you'll drive sales and profitability by identifying market opportunities and projects, influencing industry trends, forging strong client partnerships, and securing signed deals while safeguarding margins and ensuring reliable delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute end-to-end commercial strategy, including account prioritization, opportunity shaping, and pipeline governance.
• Lead tender processes, covering bid strategy, pricing discipline, partner selection, and negotiations.
• Orchestrate cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Supply Chain, Delivery, and Finance teams.
• Ensure seamless alignment between sales commitments and delivery capabilities.
• Drive overall project success from opportunity identification to profitable execution.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in Business Development within EPC, solar, or power infrastructure sectors.
• Proven track record of closing deals with clear evidence of commercial impact and revenue growth.
• Strong expertise in tendering, contracting, and negotiations with complex stakeholders.
• Demonstrated forecasting accuracy, structured pipeline management, and disciplined execution.
• Experience in Finance or investment is considered a strong advantage.
