Finance Operations Manager
Job Description:
Summary:
Our client is looking for a Finance Operations Manager to join their team! This position will take ownership of global accounting operations and financial forecasting for revenue, COGS, variances, capital expenditures, and R&D. The ideal candidate combines leadership and execution, with the ability to manage teams, systems, and complex financial processes in a dynamic, global environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the global standard cost system, including variance analysis and operational finance support
- Oversee the forecasting and budgeting process for manufacturing variances, CapEx, departmental spend, and R&D Opex using Adaptive Insights
- Manage and guide a high-performing team while working closely with international accounting partners
- Drive annual cost updates and alignment across global finance teams
- Supervise month-end close activities related to revenue, cost of sales, and margin components
- Oversee customer agreements, including ship & debit, and rebate management
- Collaborate on IT/finance projects to improve and automate financial systems, especially within Oracle
- Support global AR, collections, and credit limit processes
- Ensure compliance with evolving accounting standards and financial reporting requirements
- Lead quarterly reviews and annual external audits
- Maintain SOX documentation and ensure testing requirements are met
- Contribute to ad hoc reporting, financial analysis, and special projects
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of relevant finance or accounting experience
- 2+ years of public accounting experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- Experience in semiconductor or manufacturing environments
- Proficiency in standard costing, variance analysis, and operational finance
- Skilled in Oracle or similar ERP systems and advanced Excel
- Strong communication, leadership, and project management abilities
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
Education/Certification Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the semiconductor or manufacturing industries
- A CPA or MBA designation is highly preferred
