About the Role

Envoy Recruitment is seeking a skilled and compassionate Cath Lab Technologist to join a leading healthcare team delivering critical cardiovascular care in Arizona. This is a full-time opportunity with a $15,000 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates, ideal for professionals looking to contribute to a high-performing cardiac team.

You will play an essential clinical and technical role within the Cardiac Catheterization Lab, assisting physicians and team members in the delivery of interventional cardiovascular procedures. This includes scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating during invasive cases, including STEMIs and cardiac alerts.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform all aspects of interventional cardiovascular procedures in the Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology (IVR) suites
• Scrub, circulate, and monitor patients during invasive procedures
• Assist in emergency cardiac situations, including STEMI cases and cardiac alerts
• Manage inventory and ensure timely setup of imaging equipment
• Support pacemaker insertion and intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) procedures
• Complete patient assessments (pre-, intra-, and post-procedure) and notify care team of changes in patient condition
• Develop individualized plans of care and provide education to patients, families, and staff
• Operate x-ray and imaging equipment to obtain diagnostic-quality images and assist in contrast studies (e.g., aortograms, runoffs)
• Prioritize patient care based on acuity and available resources

What You Bring

Education

• Required: Associate Degree in Radiology or equivalent
• Preferred: Bachelors Degree in Radiology or equivalent
• Completion of a Basic EKG course

Experience

• From 1+ year X-Ray Techs seeking cross-training to a minimum 6 months of experience in a Cath Lab or Cardiac Intervention Lab at certain sites
• Preferred: 1 year or more of direct cardiac cath and radiologic care experience

Certifications:

• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 6 months of hire
• Preferred: RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification
