About the Role

Envoy Recruitment is seeking motivated and compassionate Critical Care RNs to join the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) at a leading hospital. In this role, youll provide high-quality care to critically ill cardiovascular patients during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, while collaborating with physicians and a multidisciplinary team.

This position is an excellent growth opportunity for nurses from telemetry, cardiac stepdown, or ICU backgrounds with full cross-training offered to advance into the CVICU environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to critically ill cardiovascular patients

• Perform continuous patient assessments pre-, intra-, and post-procedure

• Develop individualized care plans and collaborate with physicians on treatment strategies

• Educate patients and families on recovery and care expectations

• Respond quickly and effectively to acute or emergent patient conditions

• Uphold all nursing standards, infection control protocols, and hospital policies

What You Bring

Education

• Required: Associate Degree in Nursing

• Preferred: BSN or higher

Experience

• Prior hospital nursing experience required

• Telemetry, cardiac stepdown, or ICU experience strongly encouraged

• CCRN certification preferred but not required

Licensure & Certifications

• Active Multi-State RN license (or must obtain within 30 days if relocating from another Compact state)

• AHA BLS certification (within 7 days of hire)

• AHA ACLS and NIHSS certifications (required within orientation period for ICU/CCU/SICU/CVICU)
