About the Role

Envoy Recruitment is seeking a skilled and dynamic Nursing Director to lead Procedural and Emergency Services at a leading hospital. This role supports the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) and holds 24/7 responsibility for assigned procedural units, including the Emergency Department.

The Director will play a key role in planning, coordinating, and evaluating patient care delivery while ensuring staff competency, operational efficiency, and exceptional care outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of Emergency and Procedural Services

• Ensure delivery of safe, high-quality, and patient-centered care

• Oversee clinical staff competency, performance, and scheduling

• Collaborate with hospital leadership to implement and support departmental goals

• Manage resources, staffing, and compliance within procedural areas

• Support nursing excellence and serve as a role model for professional practice

What You Bring

Education

• Required: Associate Degree in Nursing plus a Bachelor's in Nursing or related healthcare field (BSN or equivalent)

• Preferred: Master's in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field (or willingness to obtain within 5 years)

Experience

• Minimum 3 years in a hospital-based clinical role

• At least 2 years of leadership experience in the Emergency Department or procedural units

Licensure & Certifications

• Active and current RN license (must meet state-specific requirements)

• AHA BLS certification required
