Director of Radiology

Full-Time | Leadership Opportunity | Multi-Site Role
Location: Fort Mill, SC (multiple hospital sites)

About the Role

Envoy Recruitment is seeking a seasoned Director of Radiology to lead imaging services across several facilities in the Fort Mill, SC region. This is a high-impact leadership role overseeing X-Ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, and Interventional Radiology (IR).

Youll be responsible for driving day-to-day operations, ensuring quality of care, managing department staff, and supporting strategic growth across multiple imaging departments. The ideal candidate will bring both clinical expertise and proven leadership experience in a hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate daily operations across all imaging modalities

• Lead teams across X-Ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, and IR

• Maintain high standards of care quality, safety, and regulatory compliance

• Collaborate with hospital leadership and physicians to align imaging services with strategic goals

• Develop new programs and services to expand access and hospital utilization

• Manage staffing, performance evaluations, and departmental budgets

• Ensure effective use of resources and drive continuous improvement initiatives

What You Bring

Education

• Required: Bachelors Degree

• Preferred: Masters Degree in Healthcare Administration, Radiologic Sciences, or related field

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in Radiology (e.g., X-Ray, CT, IR, MRI, etc.)

• At least 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a hospital setting

Licensure & Certifications

• ARRT Certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) required
