JOB PURPOSE
- The post holder is responsible in handling and managing surveys system, technical input for project deliverables.
QUALIFICATIONS / CERTIFICATIONS
- Degree/Diploma (Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics Engineering)
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of two (2) years working experience as Survey Engineer, preferably in the Oil & Gas Fabrication industry.
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Responsible in operating the tow equipment, the survey system and technical software package at work's site. ensuring project quality objectives are achieved and support the implementation of proactive solution on any quality control related problems that may arise, and in the development and implementation of project procedures. Involving in maintaining the SGSB survey's equipment at work location.
KEY BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES
- Demonstrate performance criteria as stipulated in IMCA Survey Engineer Grade I Core Competencies S20 and S22 Competence Tables.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITY
- Performs the rigging up and down of any surface/ sub-surface positioning related systems.
- Performs the deployment and recovery of In-Sea equipment for towed seismic operations
- Responsible for operating any surface/ sub-surface positioning related systems.
- Responsible for operating any surface/ sub-surface positioning related systems.
- Performs the calibration of any surface/ sub-surface positioning related systems.
- Responsible in providing the maintenance and service of any surface/ sub-surface positioning related systems.
- Responsible for the operating of ancillary any surface/ sub-surface positioning related systems.
- Responsible for completing and maintaining the any surface/ sub-surface positioning related systems.
- Responsible for completing fault report forms, incident reporting and end of trip report.
- Interfacing all equipment and sensor.
- Correct set up of survey systems.
- Keep track of equipment list.
- Assist all duties of Senior Survey Engineer.
- Abide by both company and client rules and instruction at all time, except where to do so would constitute a hazard/ threat to personnel or equipment.
- To co-ordinate activity with other members of the Company in a mutually helpful way.
- Strictly adhere to the principle of trust, integrity and confidentiality.
- Assist the Operations Manager/ Project Manager in preparation of procedures.
- To co-ordinate activity with other members of the operations team in a mutually helpful way.
