Job Knowledge

  • Rigging systems and lifting accessories.
  • Lift categorization and risk‑based planning.
  • Ground bearing pressure and stability assessment.
  • Interfaces between lifting operations and plant operations
  • Company Control of Work and HSSE governance.
  • Practical application of IOGP 376.

  • Strong engineering judgement and analytical capability.
  • Ability to critically review and challenge lifting documentation.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confidence to intervene and escalate unsafe conditions.
  • Effective cross‑discipline and contractor engagement.
  • Structured and disciplined approach to assurance.
  • Ability to work independently within defined authority limits.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Have certification in Lifting, Appointed person for lifting, certified Lifting Engineer (LEEA certification).
  • Minimum 5–8 years' experience in lifting engineering, heavy construction, maintenance, or industrial projects.
  • Demonstrated experience reviewing engineered lift plans.
  • Strong Knowledge in oil & gas, LNG, petrochemical, or heavy industrial facilities.
  • Experience in brownfield or live‑plant lifting operations.
  • Exposure to marine or jetty‑related lifting works.
  • Experience supporting Plant Turnarounds or major shutdowns.
  • Familiarity with company standards, projects, or assurance processes.
