About the job Site EHS Officer

  • Possess a valid NIOSH/ NEBOSH/ Safety and Health Officer (SHO) Certificate, or a Degree/ Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health or equivalent.
  • Minimum of twenty (20) years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, with substantial exposure to onshore and offshore EHS activities.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience as a Site EHS on projects directly with an upstream Oil & Gas Operator, managing contractor EHS activities during fabrication, T&I, and HUC phases.
  • Experience reviewing, implementing, and monitoring Project EHS Management Plans and associated safety procedures.
  • Experience in managing offshore campaign pre‑mobilization activities, including onboarding, MTEC inspections, marine vessel pre‑hire EHS inspections, and DROPS inspections.
  • Experience in managing site EHS programs for offshore campaigns, including inductions, audits, equipment inspections, safety walkabouts, training, toolbox talks, emergency drills, incentive programs, and continuous safety awareness activities.
  • Experience in incident investigation and reporting, including root cause analysis and corrective action tracking for safety and environmental incidents.
  • Experience in providing EHS support for marine safety for offshore Oil & Gas projects, including vessel interface activities (e.g. FSO, AWB, AHT, DPDSV, etc.), and participation in marine risk assessments.
  • Experience in MySDS system and ability to perform crew EHS/ Medical/ Competency check.
  • Experience in electronic PTW planning and implementation, including JSA preparation, review, and compliance monitoring.
  • Prior experience working in the NMB field is an added advantage.
  • Experience in implementing or supporting World Class Safety Culture (WCSC) programs is an added advantage.
