About the job Site Safety Inspector (Offshore)
Core requirements:
- To provide safety advise, assurance, and daily support to Company operation teams at offshore facility;
- Experienced in World Class Safety Culture Programs and able to mentor the crews to implement World Class Safety Culture effectively.
- To provide daily EHS support to Offshore Production, conduct EHS Onboarding for Contractors in Brownfield & Well Intervention, review EHS procedures for small scale brownfield projects, develop/update & roll out of control of work procedures (e.g. isolation, confined space, lifting & hoisting, etc.), facilitate & participate in risk assessments, conduct training (e.g. Mercury Awareness Training & PTW training), EHS Campaigns/ Initiatives, prepare SIMOPS Plan / Bridging document, incident reporting and investigation, tracking & closure of EHS related actions from audits/peer review;
- Familiarization of Hess Risk Matrix (consistent across all functions) and risk assessment methodology (e.g. to consider no safeguards for consequence, likelihood considering recommendations & safeguards, requirements for signed RA etc.);
Job Qualifications:
- Shall possess a with a NIOSH/NEBOSH/Degree/Diploma in Occupational Safety or equivalent with a minimum of 15 years offshore Oil & Gas experience in EHS support;
- More than one (3) year of working directly with an upstream Oil & Gas Operator.
- Demonstrate experience in offshore hook-up / brownfield work;
- Demonstrate experience in offshore shutdown campaign (minimum 3 campaigns);
- Must demonstrate capable for offshore travel;
- Who has perform World Class Safety Culture Programs is an added advantage.
- The hours of work will be as per the standard hours of work at the relevant work location.
Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational safety support to Hess operation teams;
- To implement and enforce EHS procedures, plans, and reports;
- Assurance on asset compliance to regulator and corporate safety requirements;
- Facilitate and participate in site risk assessments;
- Execute World Class Safety Culture Programs and able to mentor the crews to implement World Class Safety Culture effectively.
